If I could give fewer than one star, I would. Their passable selection of food and drink goes out the window when you take into account the fact that you ought not put anything valuable in their coat check, as it's likely to inexplicably disappear into thin air.

I'm never spending another dime there, and if you're prudent, you'll follow my example.

Instead, the owner condescendingly attempted to gaslight me, suggesting that the coat was lost as a result of my own clumsiness in the New Year's festivities, and dismissed me with an insincere assertion that he'd keep an eye open for it.

I left a $400 parka in their coat check on New Year's eve, 2 years ago, and at the end of the night, went to pick it up, only to find out it vanished.

A modest acknowledgement must be made, for the futile efforts of the staff on that night to find it, but that's the only credit anyone gets.

Had an awesome meal of fish and chips, some ice cold beer and terrific service from adorable Mary Beth. Just a few min off the Transcanada Highway. Well worth the stop!

What happened to my jacket remains a mystery to today. Did someone steal it? Did a member of the staff mix it up with someone else's jacket? Who knows?

Housed in the former Chugged Restaurant building. New owners have done a lot of renovations on both the interior and exterior of the building which look great. They have a huge selection of beer on tap, great food and nice staff consisting mostly of students from the local university. Nice place to go for drinks in the evening or food any time.

Absolutely charming! Was introduced to Stan Rogers by an incredible vocalist singing White Squall here.

I later spoke to the franchise owner, and he made it abundantly clear to me that he wasn't ready to lift a finger to help me locate my jacket, and didn't give a damn what became of it.

Yawn. Same fare as everyone else yet not even close to being good. At least the server was quick and nice.
